TFC Volunteer Program

The Teach For Change Volunteer program provides volunteer teachers to government schools which have a shortage of trained teachers. The volunteer teachers come from all walks of life and are highly motivated to make a difference in the lives of children from disadvantaged groups.

As part of the program, committed individuals who are willing to teach in their neighbourhood school are selected through a rigorous screening process. The volunteer teacher can choose to teach English, Maths, Science, Social Studies and Arts. All the volunteers undergo a special training across cities before being deployed to schools. With over 7832 Volunteer applications received, the selection rate of the Volunteer teachers is 6% (average). This project is currently being implemented in four states of South India but we are expanding to newer geographic locations in the academic year 2023-24 across India.
