Akhil Neelam is a public policy practitioner and a gender rights advocate, working towards making politics gender-equal. He is the Director and Co-founder of Centre for Gender and Politics, a think-tank on gender and politics in South Asia. Previously, he has worked with the state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana where he strategized policy communications and planned implementation of various public education initiatives and contributed towards implementing systemic changes for better implementation. He is also a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University.

She received her master’s degree in Education and Human Development from George Washington University, and is currently a Doctor of Education candidate at Johns Hopkins University, where she is specializing in Mind, Brain and Teaching.

Thousands of students had been mentored in areas such as career counselling, stress management, and personal development. He is a facilitator for the Faculty Development Program for Principals and Directors, as well as a guest lecturer for the Communication and Personality Development Courses at Medical Colleges. He has a computer science degree from JNTU-H, is an NLP Practitioner, an out-of-court mediator, and an alternative healing therapist.
